Building

Blueprints, build steps, the eleven categories and living in a home of your own.

Building is done by hand. You level the ground, place a blueprint, deposit materials and complete each stage with your hammer. What you build stays standing.

How to build

  1. Level the ground with your shovel. A tile is buildable if its height difference is no more than 0.3 metres.
  2. Take out your hammer, right-click and choose a category and a building.
  3. Place the blueprint. The ghost turns green when it fits. Rotate it with R.
  4. Deposit materials into the construction site.
  5. Complete the steps. Each step takes 15 seconds, processes up to 100 kg and wears down your hammer.

Living

Every house has a number of residents (1 to 5). A wooden house, for example, will refuse a third resident. Press U inside your house to set it as your home.

Storage

A chest holds 250 kg, a crate 150 kg and a barrel 300 kg.

Clock towers

There are three clock towers: wood (Raising 30), stone (Raising 60) and castle (Raising 90). The hands follow the world clock, the bell strikes every hour and you can pull the rope yourself.

Faith and art

There are nineteen idols for Devotion, including Amate, Velent, Holza, Johde, Kallente, Svefnii, Aori, Gloom the Jester and Rob the Shoveler. With Arts you can make snowmen, a Snow lord, burning heads and paintings.

Decay and upkeep

  • Outside a claim, a building loses 500 durability per day.
  • Maintenance restores 600.
  • Stone has ×2.5 HP, castle work ×5.
  • Demolishing with the hammer refunds at most half of the materials.

Based on the current development build. Values may still change during balancing.
